Citric Acid Bulk – Food Grade
Citric Acid is a weak organic acid, found in beer, that has the chemical formula C ₆H ₈O ₇. It occurs naturally in citrus fruits. In craft beers, it is sometimes used to lend some tartness in lighter beers, like Belgian Witbier, when incomplete fermentations don’t produce the desired amounts of tartness.
Used to:
- Clean the copper of your still (or any copper for that matter).
- Cleaning or removing @[email protected] from fermentation vessels.
- Adjust PH levels of your wash or wort.
- Make cheese like ricotta and mozzarella!
